The Client

A communications intensive law firm in Livingston, NJ

The Challenge

Keep the attorneys in contact when on the road using Treos and iPhones.

box-bm7-s.gifWhen lawyers are on the road, the email communications and scheduling of appointments never cease at this active law firm.  How can they take their infrastructure to the next level and fully leverage their Treos and iPhones?

The Solution

A reworking of their infrastructure using cutting edge technology provides the means by which they can stay in touch more effectively.  Their network is upgraded to support Active Directory, and a server running Exchange 2007 is deployed to handle their internal email needs.  Microsoft Active Sync is utilized to keep the PDAs (in this case, iPhone 3G and Palm Treos) in sync with the Email, Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks on the Exchange Server.  Time Matters 9 Enterprise is synchronized with the Exchange Server in real time using the Time Matters Exchange Server Synchronization.  The result is a real-time flow of information from the Time Matters database directly to the iPhone 3G and Treos.
